SANTA'S MARCH!
2007 Highland Christmas Parade
Saturday, Nov. 29, 2007, 10am
Route: Highway Avenue from Kennedy to Main Square Park
No entry fee
Parade with Santa through downtown Highland ending at the Gazebo at Main Square. Santa will have treat bags for all the good boys and girls. Parade applications are available at Town Hall.

TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
Monday, Dec. 1, 2008 at 6pm
Main Square Park
Join us for the lighting of the park and businesses for the holiday season.

CHRISTMAS DECORATION CONTEST
Judging held Dec. 9, 2008
This event is open to all Highland Residential Homes only. Entry forms available at the Lincoln Center after November 1st and must be submitted by December 5th. Judging will be done by the Highland Parks & Recreation Board on December 9th.

1st Place $50
2nd Place $25
3rd Place $25
Best Use of 1 Color $25
Best Block (3 house minimum) $25
Honorable Mention $25
A list of entries will be available after judging so that others can enjoy the decorated homes.

PHONE CALLS FROM SANTA
Dec. 11 & 12, 2008
Santa will call your registered child (forms available at the Lincoln Center November 1st and must be returned by December 1st). Santa will talk to your child about his or her wishes, (from the form you fill out). Calls take place the evening of December 11th & 12th. Highland Residents Only.

NEW YEARS EVE FIREWORKS
Midnight Dec. 31, 2007
As part of the season's Festival of Lights activities, there will be a fireworks display at Main Square Park on New Year's Eve. Bring the family to enjoy the show, but leave the alcohol at home. Show begins at midnight!

TWELFTH NIGHT
Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 6pm
The Holiday season will officially close at Main Square Park. Based on tradition, people are encouraged to bring their Christmas trees to Main Square Park for a bonfire.
