Officer Seth Carlson & Dino and Officer John Hinkle & Cuba

Best Finds
K9 Dino alerted to a hidden compartment inside a vehicle while assisting the Indiana State Police with a traffic stop on I80, resulting in the recovery of approximately twelve pounds of marijuana and approximately $5,000 in cash and counterfeit currency. Three subjects traveling from Tijuana to Ohio were arrested.

K9 Cuba alerted on the exterior of a vehicle while assisting a fellow Highland officer. K9 Cuba’s subsequent search of the vehicle interior led to the discovery of two loaded handguns, which were hidden inside the vehicle. Charges were filed against a convicted felon and several federal agencies became involved in the investigation.

Both officers would like to thank Dr. Anne Degraaf D.V.M. of Highland Animal Hospital for her continued care and support of our beloved partners.
